As such, they will simply become an adult a short time after being born, like a vanilla animal. Quaggas cannot be ordered, fed, or aged like most prehistoric creatures can. As they are mammals, they are obtained through an embryo which needs to be placed into horses. ![]() Like most other mobs in the mod, they do not spawn naturally in the world and must be created by the player. Unlike the other Cenozoic animals, there is no fossil model of the quagga through tar fossils. It is the same size as a normal Minecraft horse and uses the same sounds and mechanics as one. It is the most recently extinct animal in the mod so far having gone extinct in 1883, after the dodo which went extinct in the 1660's.
